Our unit is 5201 Hampton Place, a 1 bedroom, 2 bath oceanfront condo located in Palmetto Dunes. It can easily accommodate 4 adults and 2 kids (it has a king size bed, a queen sleeper sofa and a full size futon.)

Looking at the picture at the bottom of this page, our unit is located on the 2nd floor on the left wing of the building. This villa has a great view of the dunes, beach and ocean -- with the balcony doors open, you can hear the waves hitting the beach. The view also overlooks a "natural area" with a pathway and some palm trees, as opposed to looking across the swimming pool area.

Hampton Place is located in the world-class resort of Palmetto Dunes on Hilton Head Island. The resort offers three golf courses, over 20 clay tennis courts, bike paths, restaurants and three miles of beach area. It is a controlled access resort, meaning that certain areas like those for golf and tennis are accessible by everyone, but others such as all of the beach areas are only available to people staying in the homes and villas there. As for travel, Hilton Head is approximately a 4 1/2 hour drive from Atlanta. Except for the last bit of the drive, it is all interstate highway. It is also possible to fly into Savannah as well as Hilton Head.
